we left for Singapore, I have cleared my credit cards so I was pretty sure that my cards are free from bad credit repair. But after the trip, I am THOUSANDS broke! LOL! It’s a different story all together. But I was pretty happy that Dicky gave me some shopping money that added to my budget. And I guess I still won’t need a credit repair after going home with a luggage that was 8 kilos heavier than it’s weight on our way to Singapore.
If you are going to ask me, what I bought. My answer is just enough QUALITY items. I felt time was too short since it was our first time there so we also had to see the great attractions of the country. We were only left to shop just half a day or even less of each day we were there. We didn’t bother to go to those chinatown or night markets anymore cause a number of friends told me that those items can just be found in 168 mall here in the country. Instead, we hop from one mall to another. It was exactly what I did on our last day while I left Dicky in our hotel room who just enjoyed the bath tub. As for me, I wouldn’t trade the remaining time to just sit back so I braved myself to the whole stretch of Orchard Road, cramming like crazy for last minute shopping. Singapore is a great place to shop for branded items and since we actually hit the last week of Great Singapore Sale, I couldn’t be happier with the great finds I found. But gee, my feet and legs ached terribly! I was literally limping on our last night! Hahaha.
Thank goodness my card is free from repair credit so I was able to still use it for one big purchase! (what could it be?) But nevertheless, if ever I would need a credit repair services, I would definitely check out what DSI Solutions has to offer.

I put it as part 1 cause I’m pretty sure there would be succeeding parts after. (wink, wink)
Went to Orchard Road yesterday as our hotel is just in Scotts road (Royal Plaza) which is a walking distance to most prominent shopping malls in Orchard.
Lunch in Wisma Atria, Food Republic then went strolling inside after. We went to Tangs and Lucky Plaza after. Bought a gold Cheong Sam for Margaux as she would need one for a school activity on July 24. Dicky was able to get nice neckties from Lucky Plaza at 3 for S$20. Then we bought perfumes also inside Lucky Plaza. Saw this store which sells cheaper than the ones inside Tangs and Isetann.
In the afternoon, went to CityLink Malls, got myself 2 pair of shoes from Charles and Keith and Dicky also got himself 2 casual shoes from Bata.
This morning, we would go back to some other malls in Orchard. I hope I can drag Dicky already inside Takasahimaya and Paragon. He doesn’t want to enter yesterday when he saw LV and Gucci outside! (bwahaha)

I am excited for the trip to Singapore this Tuesday. I have a long list of items to check including BAGS, shoes (heard, it is cheap there!) Children’s Clothes, some toys, and more Healthy and Beauty products. I want to buy new make-up lines so I’m searching for cosmetic guide from Shopwiki. I’m looking to update my routine by trying out new bronzers and concealers.
I also would like to check new fragrances as I only have two bottles left. I have been reviewing new scents available in the market today. I have always been leaning on a fresh scent so I am sticking with it. There is a new line from Escada called Into the Blue which has been getting good reviews. Other options I am looking at are Estee Lauder Blue Paradise or the Marc Jacobs Splash.
I think with my long list of items to check, I need to allot 2 days for shopping alone! Most of my friends said it’s kinda hot in there lately so I better bring in some Sun Protection as we would be out most of the time! Can’t wait, can’t wait for tuesday! It is a bonding vacation with the husband.

I cut-off already my Fitness First Membership last May since I have not been going to the gym for the last 4 months! Gee, I just wasted money! I blame myself for being such a slacker on exercising. The husband has not been exercising as well but we both need to get fit before December so we are making some deals around here. Gifts galore will be showered by Christmas if we hit our desired weights. We are making it a combined effort and I patterned it with Jacqui’s bet with Mike. So the verdict, the husband decided to buy a treadmill. Can anyone let me know what type of treadmill is a good buy? Where’s the best place to buy it? Been reading up from some treadmills guide from the treadmillsguru and the information there are very helpful. But I would also appreciate more inputs from those who really purchased already.

With all what I have been reading from an egroup which I belong to regarding suggestions for second honeymoon places, Europe is topping the list. A number of them are actually saying that it is easy to book hotels online. It is actually one of my ultimate dream to travel really to this continent and I’m working on convincing hubby to give in to my request. But I guess, it is definitely not this year nor next year as we have a number of other plans lined-up. He said it could possibly happen in 2010. I would likely agree on that and settle for it rather none at all.
I heard that Spain could be a great option and the cheapest place to enjoy Europe so I would probably check Barcelona Hotels. Another one of my favorites is to see the London Eye so I would like to know the rates of London Hotels. And of course, it is a must to see the Vatican so we better check some Rome Hotels as well. If ever, we want to maximize the trip so we better check the best rates online possible from these options. We don’t want to be spending so much on high-end accommodations like those of New York Hotels since we would be on tours most of time.
I’m just wondering though if it’s really better to prepare own itinerary or go by the routes/packages of a travel agent? I would have to do a lot of researching in case we would do our own tours.

It is just so easy to place an order in their site and they ship the item to you right away after checking out. The item can be received usually in 1-7 days depending on the shipping company you preferred. And if you want rush delivery, they can even accommodate that. Now, that’s great service.

Are you in anyway familiar with probate planning information? Dicky and I discussed early this week that we wanted to increase our insurance policies. With all these rumors, emails, pedictions about an earthquake that would hit the country by July 18, 2008, makes my heart pound. But crap, I don’t believe on that. I have full faith to Him. I’ll just continue to pray that it won’t happen. Nevertheless, I think we should prepare to something inevitable. We don’t want our kids to be left behind without anything. I heard that you can get qualified probate professionals who can help you in this kind of situation. There is a free resource like USA-Probate.com that has information on attorney listings of qualified lawyers handling administrative side of probate or those that can even help you in litigation. I guess in this kind of situation, everyone should be prepared. Its a matter of learning the proper information needed when faced with it and being able to provide the necessary documens. I know tedious it could be for the family most of the time so I think getting the right person to help you should be the key. And there is entirely nothing wrong in being prepared for something everyone of us will face.

If you are a bag hag like me, you should have these few essentials:
1. Dust Bags to neatly keep you precious bags in the cabinet. Others do come in hard-boxes so it also necessary to keep them so the bags won’t develop any molds. Store your bags in a cool, dry place.

2. Bag Organizers for easy access of all your stuff inside the bag. It’s also heaven-sent not to forget anything whenever changing bags. I got mine from Rustan’s. Exactly like this but in black. There are a number of sellers also in multiply.

3. Bag Hangers to easily hang your precious bag whenever dining out or in any table you need to. It’s a big no-no to put your bag on the floor! Got mine from Rustan’s again, which I really like because the hanger itself is thicker. But I know CMG is also selling and some other sites in multiply.

4. Bag Holders which you can easily hang at the back of your cabinet, or your room door for the scheduled bags you are going to use for the week.

You can buy from By Pockets .
5. Raincoat for your precious bags, especially designers one. I am not buying this yet but saw this from MM. Could it be pathetic to get one? lol! Hmm, but I’m considering it.

You can buy this first and only raincoat from Sac Accessories.
6. And I’m still looking for that supplier of a “pad” to put at the bottom of my LV damier speedy and Gucci Joy Boston so it won’t sag. Currently using a cardboard! Hehehe. Anyone knows where I can get it?
As our bags are so precious, we should also take necessary measures to really take care of our “babies!”

Got this great tag from Vannie who started it and then Juliet tagged me also. I love this tag so I immediately looked into my pregnancy pics to post here.
Here was i at 8 months pregnant to Margaux:

And we took our Lamaze class (no, but i didn’t give birth through lamaze for both our girls!)

Not so sassy huh? I’ve got better preggy pics when I was carrying Bianca. Had a pictorial session at 7 months with Ging Lorenzo that time.

And here we were (hubby and I) trying to be mushy with some pics…

What I love about being pregnant? (but please, not at this time!)
* I love all the pampering I got from all the people around me.
* During my first pregnancy, it took out all my inhibitions or fears of not being able to bear a child. So I love the feeling of there’s a life growing inside me. It makes you important in this world. Lol!
* And I love SHOPPING to the max!!!!
