As i have posted before, the husband only wants a 4×4 RC as his birthday gift. So his wish is my command, I got him a big 4×4 truck last thursday. He can’t wait till saturday to open it so he already did last friday even before going to work. And mind you, he even played for like 15minutes in our lawn area while the kids were chasing it. This is his new toy…

before my husband’s birthday and I still do not have a gift for him. Tsk, Tsk, Tsk…bad. I should really take time to find one soon. I hope I can squeeze in my schedule. I have been asking the husband what he wants but knowing him, he would not say anything or could just say the impossible one. Here’s our conversation through text yesterday:
Me: What do you want as a gift from me for your birthday?
Husband: Hahaha, None na. Ikaw lang, ok na!
Me: (kilig!) You already have me for your lifetime!
Me: (texted again) But seriously, what do you want?
Husband: Toyota Fortuner!
Waaah! As if I can afford to buy it on my own. He is actually thinking to buy a new vehicle for the family so his text is his way of asking for my permission. But I already told him not to buy yet. I made him promise to secure first a savings for our trip to the US next year. I don’t want it to be cancelled again for any reasons, not even budget issues. I’m dead set to travel by May of next year as I have not been accepting events also for that month. And I have been haggling as well for the shopping money budget. But he said that budget for it is done already so I do not have to worry.
Again, going back to what he wants for his birthday, he in turn replied again to me after I textd him, “not yet!”
Husband: Ok, just get me an 4×4 RC!
The kid in him wants to play an RC in our lawn area. He is actually been looking for one really. So I hope I could get him one before saturday. For the meantime, I have been browsing since this morning the site of www.bestoftime.com. I am also considering getting him another watch. This time a Rolex. They do offer huge discounts currently from the manufacturer’s suggested retail price because they are an independent dealer of these watches. Considering to take this or wait till our HK trip! Hmm…

literally! Do you remember that TV commercial? PAL offered a 50% on miles redemption from June 1-10 and which I think has been extended until June 24. And with that offer, I cannot resist not to make plans on travel. The husband finally said “no” to the trip I wanted this July. In other words, my hotel booking through the timesharing membership is already forfeited. But I actually haven’t cancelled at all since my SIL would still check if she can go with me! lol! (that’s supposed to be in Bangkok)
In exchange, despite the swine flu, the October plan to travel to HongKong with the kids has been moved to the month of September. I’m excited for this as it would be the first time of the kids there. Of course, we would bring them to Disneyland HK. Instead of the 15,000 miles needed for a round-trip ticket to HK, we were able to redeem it at 7,500 each only. That means, the expiring miles we have on September have been utilized. Isn’t great?
And since we still have another 30,000 miles remaining, we decided to still use it up to maximize the promo. Next destination? The island of Guam on November! We were able to claim 3 round-trip tickets already with the remaining miles cause instead of 20,000 miles each, it was down to 10,000 each. We just got our other daughter a “paying ticket.” I just hope it’s not stormy that time. But whatever it is, I’m so giddy-happy. Know why? It’s tax-free shopping in Guam! (see me smiling from ear to ear! grin!) 
This promo of mabuhay miles is so “sulit!” I would really recommend getting a credit card that is tied up to mabuhay miles. Our miles mostly came from our points from credit card charges. This 50% off redemption is actually a yearly thing. We only paid taxes for our round-trip tickets. Mind you, the tax to HongKong and Guam are just the same. It was only at Php4,903/pax for the round-trip. It was surely a great savings for us so we can have more room for shopping money!

is finally over! The “new baby” arrived yesterday through a very kind client who bought this for me in a store in Pennsylvania. She even hand-carried the item for me! When I opened the dust bag, I so love its Scent! It’s like a scent of the perfume Gucci Envy! No kidding!
I have been haunted by this design and I have been hunting it from stores abroad since it is currently not available here in Manila. Thanks to my writing abilities, it is indeed a fruit of my assigments after saving my online moolah for almost 6 months. And thanks to the husband for my birthday cash gift, the gucci pelham is now mine!

I wish I have this much space…
for my home office. And look at the furniture, who would thing that its a rustic furniture? It looks so modern as well, with an L-shaped table. It looks neat and tidy with an open bookshelf and a two-door tall cabinet. It could also be perfect for my home office. And yes, these are all made up of maple wood. Probably next time, lol!

I just so love LV’s Epi NoeS (in Tan, Black and Yellow). Doesn’t it show? I can just dumb all my stuff inside the bag, but of course, using my able “bag organizer.” And yes, I am collecting different colors of it.
The Yellow Noe which is the most recent addition is the most good quality among the three. Although the two has been like 90% brand-new, the yellow is like 98% new with no tarnish at all and even a very fresh smell inside it. But mind you, it was the cheapest, among the three that I got.
I think I need a red next time!

So this is where I stuck the kids whenever I need to work!
Yeah, it’s definitely the girls’ room! But we should still get them nice Kids furniture which I have been drooling over spacify.com. Eventually we need to get them beautiful kids beds and even kids’ study tables. I have been a regular visitor of the site because I find their pieces so modern which would be ideal for the theme of the house. And oh, check out their beddings for kids. You would regret if you won’t get something like what they offer online! And oh, they even offer free shipping to most of their items!
