Baby Shower Invitations

One of my friends rescheduled her Baby Invitations for a baby shower that should happen tomorrow. Apparently, she opted to refrain from partying and requested her guests to divert attention to just help those who are victims of the calamity. Such a very kind-hearted gesture. In the baby invitation wording she has texted us, she said that their baby would be glad to be part of helping fellowmen through the means of other people.

But the invitations baby my friend ordered from http://www.cards-411.com/  didn’t come to waste. My friend got free shipping and some few free cards from the Cards-411 so it was a really great deal. And it was a cute remembrance to us friends anyway, as she has put her preggy picture to the invitation card. It’s definitely for keeps.

Grateful that my family is intact. It is the most important thing. I braved to cross the chest-deep flood to be home to my husband and my kids. My parents were affected by the flood but I am more than thankful that its the only thing that happened to them. Furnitures and personal belongings can be restored and replaced. It is just important that they are safe now. My heart goes well to the severely hit victims. Let’s make our share on how to help them.

Went to this Shop@the Fort Bazaar last weekend and I was able to buy a number of Ann Taylor and Ralph Lauren Shorts.  Ok, around 5?  (I made pakyaw! hihihi )

Photo Birth Announcement

I almost can’t count in my hands anymore as to how many of my friends are making either Birth Announcements or baby announcements (i.e. “they’re pregnant!”). No I am not envious yet as we are still not planning to add another member to the family. But we don’t want to say our last piece yet. We would be very open with the idea by next year, right after the US trip!.

It took me weeks before finally deciding to stay just for a night in the city in Marco Polo Gateway in HongKong.  There were another of “not so good” reviews from TripAdvisor but still took my chances. The verdict? I was very happy with the hotel. I heart its location to bits! Never stayed on that side of the city before since we were always booked somewhere HongKong Island or on the side of Jordan. But this time, since we have kids in tow, we really have to find a hotel which is right at the heart of shopping mall. Yes, Gateway was right smack in the center of Harbour City. I love our room because it was big. Bigger than our Disneyland Hollywood Hotel actually. We got a deluxe room at the price of superior room. I got lucky when I was about to book already that I was able to get this promo. The only thing I didn’t like on the room is their old door. They still use the typical door knob and not the vingcards yet. The bathroom is huge too.

If you are really going to HongKong for shopping, I would bet for Marco Polo Gateway as a perfect location. It was near MTR stations, H&M store and those flagship stores of designer brands. Just hold on to your pockets!

I heart this hotel. I would really consider staying again on this hotel.

Invitations Holidays

We are thinking to host some christmas parties in the house so I am already looking for nice Christmas Holiday Invitations.  Since it would be our first time to spend the Christmas Season in the new house, we really wanted to share our blessings to our friends and family so I want to have a fabulous party for them.  But I never thought that it could actually be tedious as well.  I need to ensure to give out these Christmas party invitations early as as I’m pretty sure most would be very busy during the season so I want my friends to block of their calendars as early as now.

Guessing that this would be almost my last LV purchase since I have atleast one of each line. (except the Denim, Suhali, Mahina and Nomade which I do not have plans of getting).  Just wishing to have one Keepall and I’m done!

Went to the mall yesterday to buy last minute stuff to bring for our trip.  The husband didn’t buy the idea of buying luggages for the kids.  Instead, he allowed me to buy the Avent Tempo Disposable System.  Yes, Bianca in particular still drinks milk from the bottle.  Still not fully weaned.  And Margaux in some occasions like when sleeping do ask for milk as well from the bottle.  I guess the disposable system is a good deal since we would still be using it in other future trips.  Atleast, I just need to bring these and few nipps instead of lots of individual bottles. So I have more room for things I would shop!

My husband has been talking non-stop recently about cars, new vehicles particularly SUVs! While me, on the other hand, talk non-stop about bags, more bags! lol! But seriously, he was even checking out latest releases from abroad, even those car leasing sites from US and UK. He’s obssessed with SUVs, giving him sleepless nights while me on the other hand has been getting eyebugs already thinking about the balenciaga bag of Kelly! Anyway, the bag is another story. But the husband even told me about BuyYourCar.co.uk. The site that offers a great way to own a car whether you just lease or own new and used cars. They have links to competitive loans and even have independent Car Reviews. Now, he’s wishing there is something like this in the country.

no, not me but a good friend Abie who joined her husband for a trip to Europe. I envy her! hahaha! So I told her to keep her notes as we would be Europe-bound in like…ek, 3 years from now?!  That’s a way too long of planning! (lol!)

But since she was already in the Fashion Capital of the World, I requested her to get me one….hmm, two bags actually. I still cannot afford to get a “C” bag that time that she left even if I was drooling over the price difference of it vs getting it somewhere else. Instead, I decided to get something from a store where Paris is the flagstore….guess? yes, Long Champ!

I wanted to get a Le Pliage in pink but good thing it was an out of season color so Abie suggested that she would buy me the limited edition Eiffel Tower  instead in beige/cream color. I searched the internet and I fell in love with the bag! I heart it to the max, not to mention that I heart the price big time! No, its not expensive but big time cheap!!!!!

I was so “kulit” to Abie that I asked her to buy another one for me after a day of buying me the long handle of the limited edition. I asked her to get me the short handle in blue as well. Mind you, these pieces are selling like at minimum of Php10K-15K each here in Manila! Incredible!!!! But only got it at 1/3 price!!!! Have carried it a couple of days already in the mall and these have been head-turning pieces, I tell you!  So I’m one giddy-happy bag camper, cause it looks like I have been to Paris! (lol!)

Sinc we have moved to the new house, we are trying other malls closer to our location.  SM North Edsa and Trinoma has been those malls actually.  Now that Active Fun is already open in SM Annex North Edsa, we have reasons to go around that mall while we dropped the kids for some play. I’m pretty sure more kids would love playing and staying here because of this giant slide…

Gone are the days that my kids just want to stay in a play area where there were only a small space and little tikes stuff, instead they prefer more physical play and Active Fun is a good place for them to hang-out.

The rates are just right with a lot of things the kids can play.  

They also offer party packages. We particularly saw their set-up when we were there. I’m sure the kids guests would have a blast partying here.
