Hot and Cold Shower

Yes, call me pathetic, but I am overly happy with the installation of our Hot and Cold Multi-Shower System. Been wanting to get it but for some reason we just didn’t prioritize it. Good thing, the water line was already prepared by our contractor so anytime we want to purchase one, it would just be easy to install. The husband said it was one of the best investments we had. It’s enjoyable to take a hot shower in the evening with just a turn of the knob.  What we got is actually isn’t the regular heater for shower but something like what has been installed in hotels. Even our sink faucet have a hot and cold system already. I love it! Yes, OA but that’s how it is. Imagine my joy when we finally get spa covers for our hot tub. (wink!)

Looks like it’s working…

Yes, it is, the acne face lotion that was prescribed to me by my dermatologist. After just two days of using it, looks like it is really working and making wonders on my skin.  Happiness!  I want to get back to my old self so getting rid of those pimples and blackheads would really make me smile today. I think the price I paid for this is actually worth it. I would be glad to show my dermatologist the improvement on my skin on my next visit to her.

On Wish list…Mulberry Alexa

Yes, this one is on my wish list…my unending wish list for bags…

I know it looks like a typical high schooler bag but it is indeed a perfect travel bag too, (reason why I like it!). If you are a regular follower of this blog, by now you know that the two most important luxury I fancy in life is bags and travel. These two can actually work together (wink!).

Mulberry Alexa is actually one of the most sought after bags recently. It belongs to those arena of the “IT bags.” The bag was actually named after an It girl too, Alexa Chung. This bag can be seen carried by most picky fashionistas. It is not the type of monogram bags that are easily copied and mocked. I particularly loved this color above, called plum because it is just so yummy and gorgeous. Mulberry, aside from Balenciaga bags can totally pull off a distressed leather bag. It has a very functional shape and its leather is just so luxurious whether from afar or close by.

For now, it remains on my list waiting to be ticked!

Dermatologist needed!!!

I don’t think the an ordinary acne treatment would work on the 1, 2, 3, 4….7 pimples on my forehead! Waaah! So I decided to schedule an appointment with my dermatologist since I think I already need a professional help. The first thing I told my doctor is to help me get rid of those pimples. I also asked her the proper way in getting rid of blackheads especially around my nose and chin. She gave me a wonderful product but also very expensive I must say.  But I am just crossing my fingers that it would all be worth it as I am not very happy anymore on what i see when I face the mirror. My doctor promised a better skin for me in a week’s time.  Let’s see.

Costume look-out…

I am still convincing the girls to wear Cherry Bombs for their trick or treat costumes but the “ate” insists to become a princess. So I went to the mall today to check out some princess costumes and was just frustrated that they don’t have available sizes anymore. The girls won’t be happy with that news for sure. I was already cramming I tell you. Wonder where I could get nice costumes at this time. But I still asked my friend to make one for them. I went home empty-handed and just got myself an acne treatment from a promo booth since there were pimples which grew on my forehead already probably because of stressing too much on what the girls would wear on their activity this coming weekend.

Science Discovery Center

Margaux and her classmates went to this Science Discovery Center in Mall of Asia. I highly recommend the place as it offers interesting activities for the children. The center is open everyday from 10am to 10pm. It has a very spacious 15-meter dome Planetarium that is fully interactive and provides real-time 3D features. During the show, the kids were given scopes so they can actually enjoy looking at the planets and galaxies above the dome. The center is divided into different galleries: Robot Inc, Virtual Reef, Grossology, Life Clock, Transportation Nation, City Science among others. Walk-in rates for adults and kids is Php330.00. This is a good place to visit with your kids when you are within Mall of Asia.

Flex Belt…

Woot! The husband purchased a Flex Belt to assist him for his lower ab workout. I just have high hopes that he could get a 6-pack abs in no time. I am not doubtful but I am hopeful. Lol! I support him on this one as he really needs to do some rigid workout to be able to lose those excess weight. Well, aside from the flex belt, he is also back to his South Beach Diet for another two weeks.

The question…

Wonder what is the best weight loss pill? I have also been looking for one. There are a number of reviews I have been seeing online and sometimes, I wouldn’t know which one provides the most accurate review. So aside from reading reviews, I also rely to what my friends are recommending. But I am also considering getting an exercise machine for the house. My husband and I need to really get in shape. And with just the diet alone, I don’t think it would work fast. So with the diet pills, the exercise and right balance diet as well, I am hoping to really get in shape soon. Good luck to me!

Payless Shoe Store in Shangri-la Mall

As I was looking around for some cigar brands as souvenirs for the male entourage of one of our weddings, I saw this store in Shangri-la Mall.  Went it and tried to a couple of shoes.  I saw these nice ones at a very affordable prices. These were just a little over a thousand.  But I actually didn’t bring home any.  I refrain from buying.  It’s a nice to have but not actually a need.  I was behaved! lol!
