The Shopaholic In Me

We are still hosting about 3 parties in the house before we go on vacation this season. So now, I am looking for nice and perfect Christmas invitations to send out to families and friends. Each party will have a different theme so I am working on the specifics of each and every party. The food will also be thematic. Well, that is my plan. I hope to pull of these things. We will also start decorating the house so this end of the month’s break will be a busy holiday for us. The kids can’t wait for the Christmas tree to be up.

We completed the Smurf toys through McDonald’s Happy Meal in one dining. Glad it was available in McDonald’s Katipunan so I ordered 8 meals at the same time. The toys are so cute. Of course, the girls are giddy happy for their new small blue men.

On the other note, I was impressed with the gift baskets I saw online when I was browsing using my iPad, while I was waiting for the girls as they were playing in the play area of McDonalds.  Oh how I love the gourmet gift boxes.  It could be a perfect gift for Christmas to suppliers friends.  I wonder if I can get it locally.  The rates are very economical too and the packing/presentation is superb.  I should start looking for a supplier of those here in my area.

It’s just 4 months before the season so it’s time to make a long list for Christmas. I have finished some of my list as I mentioned previously that I am starting to work on it already. Now, I am working on the list of family and friends who i wish to send out Christmas Cards. There are beautiful season cards from Paper Culture online. Oh, I can even have a customized design with our family picture as the cover. I’m sure our families and friends abroad will love it. I better set a schedule so we can go have a nice family picture.

Pardon me as I have been backtracking the events last month. Apparently, I didn’t have much time in my hands in blogging recently so am just making the most of what spare time i have to just scribble the important memories back then. Sharing now, a christmas dinner we had with friends in the house…

Just prepared healthy dishes like salad and vietnamese spring rolls. These were appropriate so we didn’t need any fat burning exercises after. Though I also served some cheese and grapes and of course our favorite red wine too. It was a potluck party so our friends bought the other main dishes.

The kids didn’t get new textbooks from us. Instead, the husband got them a garden playset.

They love it. They enjoy playing with it every afternoon. But good thing some gave them other toys too and some even includes books. Their play room needs a lot of cleaning as well.  There are just so many toys which have piled up around it.  I need some time to sort it out even their clothes.

It was full under the christmas tree…

The kids had a blast opening their gifts the morning of christmas day! They received lots of gifts from their godparents so as from family and friends. Will blog about it separately.

We also distributed most of our gifts to our families and friends during our christmas party reunions.

And oh, Husband and I also got few nice gifts!

It was a happy christmas!

We sent out most of the Christmas Invitations for our upcoming parties in the house. Last Tuesday night was the first party with suppliers’ friends.
