We went to the home depot yesterday to check out some easy-install racks for the kids’ room. We were also looking for stair rods as my mom wants to replace the one in their house. But we weren’t lucky to find what we were looking for so the kids asked us to bring them instead to a kid’s store nearby. The eldest didn’t want to leave the store without bringing home this.

This is their latest craze after seeing one in TV. Glad she also got something bigger like this for her twitter kids exchange gift.

(that is tomorrow) because of this…

I would be there from opening hour. It’s my 2nd DK’s birthday tomorrow too so that’s where I would also get her birthday present. Would be getting gifts for the exchange gifts we have on Sunday and of course, I’m ready with my list for Christmas. I hope they have nice stuff and that they have really slashed off in prices.

I am still convincing the girls to wear Cherry Bombs for their trick or treat costumes but the “ate” insists to become a princess. So I went to the mall today to check out some princess costumes and was just frustrated that they don’t have available sizes anymore. The girls won’t be happy with that news for sure. I was already cramming I tell you. Wonder where I could get nice costumes at this time. But I still asked my friend to make one for them. I went home empty-handed and just got myself an acne treatment from a promo booth since there were pimples which grew on my forehead already probably because of stressing too much on what the girls would wear on their activity this coming weekend.

Margaux and her classmates went to this Science Discovery Center in Mall of Asia. I highly recommend the place as it offers interesting activities for the children. The center is open everyday from 10am to 10pm. It has a very spacious 15-meter dome Planetarium that is fully interactive and provides real-time 3D features. During the show, the kids were given scopes so they can actually enjoy looking at the planets and galaxies above the dome. The center is divided into different galleries: Robot Inc, Virtual Reef, Grossology, Life Clock, Transportation Nation, City Science among others. Walk-in rates for adults and kids is Php330.00. This is a good place to visit with your kids when you are within Mall of Asia.

The little girl tried ice skating in SM MOA last sunday. Sorry for my crappy pictures. I took it using my phone’s camera from afar.

We hired a someone to teach her for an hour and she liked it. In fact, she was even saying that she wanted to do it regurlary. Oh, would this be her sports? lol! I am actually considering but MOA is just so far from us so I am hesitant. Not only that I am worried about freak accidents she could get from it. She’s too young for such and she even doesn’t have a social security disability benefit, you know! But it could really be a good sports for her. Well, it’s the husband to finally approve on it. Will probably go back to see if she could really catch up on the training.

Saw the above little play kitchen in Ikea in Windsor House in Hong Kong. It’s so cute. I almost bought it as I thought it would be perfect for the little girls play room. There was even like a play electric fireplace insert which could partner with the above for the mini living room area that they have there as well. But it would really be a problem to bring those home. I thought of course of shipping it instead but I’ll rather not get the hassle so I didn’t buy. Instead got few ikea boxes, just about two, round place mats and ice cubes shaper. I love Ikea!

Yey! This is indeed a very good treat for Citibank cardholders. Every Php 1,500 charge slip, entitles you to a box of 6 of Krispy Kreme donut. Happy to avail of it last friday. Maximum of 2 charge slips per transactions making it like a dozen of donuts. Isn’t it amazing? What a great deal! I actually availed of it already last friday. Brought these home for the kids.

With our upcoming trip, I have been thinking whether to get a separate luggage for the kids. I came across Trunki in the mall. I love it actually ever since I saw it. But I am just wondering if it is really worth to get it. Since I have two girls, I’m sure I’ve got to get one for each of them. I hope they would really carry it though. They’ve got cute new designs this time. I love the idea though that kids can pack, carry and ride on their Trunki. Should they get tired, we can also easily and safely pull them along. Hmm, still thinking, should I get for the kids?

Sold these shoes/sandals of the kids last week to my twitter mates. It was sold in an instant. Although, those are not Cole Haan shoes, lol! I was surprised how fast you could sell in twitter. I am enjoying de-cluttering my closet as well as the kids’ closet. It feels like you have cleaned up some excess baggages from there. At least we have more room for new stuff again. Maybe, I could really buy a real Cole Haan shoes this time. I’m heart the white sandal I saw from Blue Fly.

Thanks to Jane for buying the above LeSportsSac Large when their family went to Guam last January. I actually failed to get it the last time we were in Guam last November. I trusted her instinct and I was so happy with what she got for me. Not to mention that the price is also a great steal! On sale at $83!!!
I love the prints!
It would be a perfect weekender bag/carry on bag to hold the girls’ stuff for our trip to US. This would do while I “still cannot” afford an LV Keepall 50!

I know there is no winter here and it’s almost spring when we travel this May but what the heck, I just bought these winter jackets for the kids. I got these from Zara during their clearance sale last January. Lucky enough to find boots as well for the kids. These jackets are big enough for them anyway. It could even fit them even when they are 8 years old!
so we have more time to use it. (reason to travel every year!)
My kiddies…

I am glad I went to the Toy Kingdom Sale few weeks back. I was so dissapointed with the Richwell Sale last weekend. Know why?
1. The warehouse was so hot. As usual, with lots of people, it was extremely hot.
2. Most items were the same as last year.
3. Items were scattered all over with no proper identification of tags whether it is at 50% off or only at 20%.
4. Yes, not all items were at 50%. Those in nice boxes and newer items are only at 20%.
5. The ones at 50% were not even working (for some). And you wouldn’t want to buy it as a gift for someone else. (kakahiya!) or I wouldn’t even dare to buy it as well even if it’s just for my kids’ use. I mean, Santa Claus is not giving a toy in dilapidated boxes!!!
6. No playhouses or slides for sale. The only one for sale was sold already as early as opening time at 9am! That’s what I plan to buy lang sana.
7. 2 cashiers only unlike in Toy Kingdom Sale which has about 10 I think.
Well, so much of my bitterness about Richwell Sale. I was just happy that I went otherwise to the Toy Kingdom Sale. The items are whole lot better. More options and are all in good condition. Very much proper to give as gifts. I was able to snag few nice items for the girls from Santa Clause. I also got few pieces for nieces and nephews.
Hannah Montana Bracelets with lights and Disney Princess Necklaces with lights too, From Php200, down to Php50.

Barbie Bags from Php279.75 down to Php100. Barbie pencil cases from Php129.75 down to Php65.00 (great gifts for classmates of Margaux)

Cute bags and a play ball, both from Php299.75 down to Php150.

Baby Tracy from Php1000+, down to Php350. RC Toy car from Php199.75 down to Php100

Game Boards from Php150, down to Php75. Winx Puzzle from Php199.75, down to Php100.

Disney Princess DIY Jewelry and Flip and Match Memory Game, both at Php250, Buy 1 Take 1.

And the most loved items I got for the girls…
Hannah Montana Dance Mat with DVD and wig from Php1,799.75 down to Php800 and Bratz Rock Guitar from Php2,799.75, down to Php1000

I think I really had great deals on the above items!

I can’t wait any longer for Thanksgiving Sale
My EQ was again low today
I ended up buying just two cute shirts for the girls! Yes, just two. I made sure I controlled the quantity although I could have wanted to get new jackets as well but good thing the ones I like don’t have sizes anymore!
And oh, thanks to Jane for letting me order and add to her shopping cart so I was able to save on shipping cost!
I got the girls the RL Short Sleeves Oxford Blouses…
