Another trip!

I will be going to HongKong this October 14-17.  Yes, you read it right, just me and not going to be with Dicky and the kids.  After a lot of pulling and pushing, the husband doesn’t want to go.  He didn’t allow me to even bring just Margaux.  I will be going to HK with my cousins to actually check out a business matter.  One of them asked me to accompany her since she hasn’t been there.  Can you imagine?  She’s been to different countries but not HK.  So she seeked out my help, since she knows that I have been to HK a couple of times already.

Of course, this will be coupled with pleasure and a lot of shopping I bet.  And with Dicky not around, I might end up buying another LV bag!  Yay!

Hmmm…

NAIA Terminal 3 Now Open!

Pathetic as it may seem, I want to book now a domestic Cebu Pacific flight in order to see and use this airport which has been idle for almost 6 years!

As per the news today, Cebu Pacific improved the service already, no more chaos and delays!

Where to go? Where to go? Where to go?

Few days before…

we left for Singapore, I have cleared my credit cards so I was pretty sure that my cards are free from bad credit repair.  But after the trip, I am THOUSANDS broke! LOL!  It’s a different story all together. But I was pretty happy that Dicky gave me some shopping money that added to my budget. And I guess I still won’t need a credit repair after going home with a luggage that was 8 kilos heavier than it’s weight on our way to Singapore.

If you are going to ask me, what I bought. My answer is just enough QUALITY items. I felt time was too short since it was our first time there so we also had to see the great attractions of the country.  We were only left to shop just half a day or even less of each day we were there. We didn’t bother to go to those chinatown or night markets anymore cause a number of friends told me that those items can just be found in 168 mall here in the country. Instead, we hop from one mall to another. It was exactly what I did on our last day while I left Dicky in our hotel room who just enjoyed the bath tub. As for me, I wouldn’t trade the remaining time to just sit back so I braved myself to the whole stretch of Orchard Road, cramming like crazy for last minute shopping. Singapore is a great place to shop for branded items and since we actually hit the last week of Great Singapore Sale, I couldn’t be happier with the great finds I found.  But gee, my feet and legs ached terribly!  I was literally limping on our last night! Hahaha.

Thank goodness my card is free from repair credit so I was able to still use it for one big purchase! (what could it be?) But nevertheless, if ever I would need a credit repair services, I would definitely check out what DSI Solutions has to offer.

Singapore buys (Part 1)

I put it as part 1 cause I’m pretty sure there would be succeeding parts after.  (wink, wink)

Went to Orchard Road yesterday as our hotel is just in Scotts road (Royal Plaza) which is a walking distance to most prominent shopping malls in Orchard.

Lunch in Wisma Atria, Food Republic then went strolling inside after.  We went to Tangs and Lucky Plaza after.  Bought a gold Cheong Sam for Margaux as she would need one for a school activity on July 24. Dicky was able to get nice neckties from Lucky Plaza at 3 for S$20.  Then we bought perfumes also inside Lucky Plaza.  Saw this store which sells cheaper than the ones inside Tangs and Isetann.

In the afternoon, went to CityLink Malls, got myself 2 pair of shoes from Charles and Keith and Dicky also got himself 2 casual shoes from Bata.

This morning, we would go back to some other malls in Orchard.  I hope I can drag Dicky already inside Takasahimaya and Paragon.  He doesn’t want to enter yesterday when he saw LV and Gucci outside!  (bwahaha)

Travel to Europe

With all what I have been reading from an egroup which I belong to regarding suggestions for second honeymoon places, Europe is topping the list. A number of them are actually saying that it is easy to book hotels online. It is actually one of my ultimate dream to travel really to this continent and I’m working on convincing hubby to give in to my request. But I guess, it is definitely not this year nor next year as we have a number of other plans lined-up. He said it could possibly happen in 2010. I would likely agree on that and settle for it rather none at all.

I heard that Spain could be a great option and the cheapest place to enjoy Europe so I would probably check Barcelona Hotels. Another one of my favorites is to see the London Eye so I would like to know the rates of London Hotels. And of course, it is a must to see the Vatican so we better check some Rome Hotels as well. If ever, we want to maximize the trip so we better check the best rates online possible from these options. We don’t want to be spending so much on high-end accommodations like those of New York Hotels since we would be on tours most of time.

I’m just wondering though if it’s really better to prepare own itinerary or go by the routes/packages of a travel agent? I would have to do a lot of researching in case we would do our own tours.

Travelling with Kids

As we are planning for our next travel with kids, I have been on the lookout on what’s best to get for the two tots we are bringing along.  It would be a long haul of about 13-14 hours so I guess I have to pack the essential things and must have in our carry-on luggage.  I don’t know if I can really survive the trip but I’m really praying hubby and I would.  I would probably bring on some Benadryl to keep them at sleep.  Good thing flight would be in the evening.  And if doesn’t work for them, I would probably take it myself instead!  lol.  But check out what I found online.

I love the Trunki luggage and might really get atleast one for my two girls. Good thing it also available locally from Baby Couture shops.  But aside from it, there are other cool luggages available here.  Check out what’s hot the next time you travel with your kids.
