Oh my, with barely 5 weekends to go before our trip, I really need to start my shopping list for the items we need to bring for the holiday vacation. I still need to get the following:
1. Thermal clothes for the kids
2. Thermal clothes for me and the husband
3. Gloves, bonnets and thermal socks for all of us.
4. Scarves
5. Winter jackets and hoping I could score a great deal for north face jackets
6. New set of luggages
7. New set of boots for me
8. Some winter clothes for me
9. Some winter clothes for the kids
10. “Pasalubong” for relatives
Well, my list can go on but I would like to prioritize first the items above. I hope I could find time this weekend to go shopping for the initial items.

Our US itinerary is being set. We are close to finalizing everything. And I am getting excited. Although, I think we are missing to go to Florida. I was wishing we can still include that in our itinerary because aside from a possible cruise which we can do there, I have been amazed on what I read about orlando fishing report. I actually want to experience it myself. I am sure it would be a great and a memorable trip if ever. Nevertheless, we are still excited on what we are cooking for this December.

After getting the wedding invitations of a relative this morning, I got really excited about their upcoming wedding on December. It made me realize too that we are just counting the months again for a much-awaited vacation of the family. I actually sat down this morning and tried to come up with a budget plan. I ended up having a headache! Lol! I checked the theme parks which we plan to go to and I almost fainted after learning that they have increased their rates. Now, I need to present to the husband so he can take a look. We need to start saving for this trip.

Had the chance to stay right here…

It’s the beautiful Marina Bay Sands in Singapore during our trip last week. I made the right choice to stay on this hotel with my family. It was a different experience to actually swim right on top of the building, at the 57th floor. Our room was very nice and spacious too. It was like 35 square meters in size. It’s bigger than the usual hotel room size. It has a nice flat TV screen on a sturdy tv mounts. It has a modern bathroom too which is actually very important for me. We got a twin bed instead of king size bed. It has a veranda as well overlooking the harbour area. Here are more pictures of the room:

Excited to go to Bangkok with friends. I am sure it will be a truly fun vacation with them as we have been planning it already for months. I almost thought we won’t push through already. But so happy that we are actually flying to the city tonight. Bangkok is actually food trip and shopping. I do not think I need natural hgh releasers now and even any diet pills as I do intend to pig out there, lol! I love thai food and of course I love shopping the most!

As most of my friends know, my ultimate dream vacation will be to go to Europe for our 10th year wedding anniversary next year. So I am gathering as early as now some information and even flyers from different agencies. I am starting to compile so I can prepare our itinerary and of course our budget.
This is an example of a tour package I got from Rome to London for 9 days. The tour is already inclusive of all attractions, accommodations as well as food. Now, after computing, I need to save more!

We splurged a bit by having one of our dinners in Solana Bar. It’s one of the 4 restaurant outlets of Shangri-la Boracay Resorts and Spa. We actually ordered our food from Sirena Restaurant which offers seafood menu but we decided to stay in one of the nice and cozy corners of Solana Bar. It’s a romantic date place for lovers and I highly recommend it. The food is great but expect it to be pricey too. What I like most about the place is the day beds they used. You can literally lie down under the dark skies while watching the stars. Too bad, our little Bianca was already sleeping during this time so we only had Margaux to accompany me and the husband. It was pretty cold that night and since my little girl was wearing a sleeveless top, the staff was courteous enough to lend her a shawl. Another great service from the resort. Two thumbs up!
Here are some of our pictures…

This is one of the things I like about Boracay. It offers the perfect sunset scene! Don’t you agree? It’s just so serene to watch the sun set in the beach. I wish I could have brought scopes to view it closely. But even with just a naked eye, the scene is just breathtaking! We were in front of Seawind resort during this time. We went to Station 1 via Shangri-la’s shuttle every afternoon to enjoy more the beach and also to watch the sunset. I won’t get tired going to this island. In fact, I miss it already.

Vacation is finally over! We love Shangri-la Boracay Resorts and Spa! As in we heart it to the max! Service is superb. Traveling wit kids was a breeze with them. They were very attentive to our needs. They allowed us to check-in early. They will automatically give you cold bottled water after getting up from the swimming pool. They provide shuttle service to guests who wants to go to Station 1. They also allowed us to have a late check-out! They assisted us up to Caticlan airport by lining up for us in the check-in counter. They transfered us back to their Mabuhay lounge area so we do not need to wait long in the airport since it’s pretty hot there. By the way, Caticlan airport is being renovate. I have so many pictures to share so now, it’s time to download the contents of our sd memory cards. Will post more pictures.

Thanks to a great friend for giving me this wonderful gift…

Super love! Instead of anti aging products, I embrace this more. Though I cannot use the same gift certificate for the Chi Spa in Boracay, I am still looking forward to use it in the next couple of months. I will probably use it on my birthday on June since it is still covered by the effectivity date.
For the meantime, let me share to you some of my pictures in Chi Spa of Boracay…

Yes, we went to the travel expo today. I thought we wont. I was surprised when the husband was even the one who dragged me to go SMX today. And I’m happy that we were able to finalize our trip for December. We were able to book our US tickets already. Woohoo! Got it at a very good deal. It’s way cheaper than the regular ticket cost during that month since December is known to be a peak month. Now, we are ready to prepare our itinerary for that trip. We are going to Reno to celebrate Christmas. The kids are excited again to experience snow and play around a fig tree.

Rajah Travels and Tours is offering this deal!

Travel expo is happening already this coming weekend. From February 18-20. I am sure there are a lot of great deals there. That’s where we got our cheap US airfare last year. I wish I could drop by to check out some Asian destination packages but I am so full this weekend for events. Ok, that would spare my credit card from beating!

We enjoyed our day tour in Pico De Loro. There are just so many things do there. The kids enjoyed swimming while the husband and I together with our relatives just enjoyed hanging around. The place has a 6-bowling alley and a videoke room too. Though the hotel is being constructed yet, they do have condominiums available for sale or even for rent. The kids practically do not want to head out the exit signs and were practically crying out for us to stay there for the night. We would try to go back to this place again.
