I missed the Toy Kingdom Sale. Gosh, I’m a bummer. I even posted it here. Too bad wasn’t able to make it since I had a wedding last Friday and two parties to attend to last weekend. I heard there were lots of nice toys at great prices but I also heard a number of people who just went home empty handed because of the tremendous cashier line-up. Anyway, I’d rather prepare myself instead for this friday. Note: I have blocked off my whole afternoon so I can go there early. We are just 5 minutes away from this warehouse and I’ll truly be a big bummer if I don’t get there first and be among the first to see the great selections. I hope it would be as good as 2years ago. Last year was ok, but 2006 was better.
I bet I’ll see some of you there! (wink, wink)

I was in Shangrila-Mall today from a meeting and thought of buying something for the dear husband.
Got him these…

2 Lacoste Shirts (1 polo shirt and 1 short sleeves polo)
I had those put in a box and wrote in the cards…

“Because you are a VIP (a very important person) to us, a simple gift for you!”
“Really appreciate all your efforts in providing a happy life for our family.”
Ok, fine. I am trying to be mushy here. Anyway, one of the truths of the matter is that Lacoste is on sale! So that’s one of the reasons why I also bought two pieces! (lol!)
But nevertheless, it is sometimes nice to give something unexpectedly, just a token of appreciation to the person you always choose to love! (naks!)

I am no Greta but I just love Plains and Prints since the time my coordinator friends, Peaches and Liza introduced me to the brand. I love their blouses, very couture and chic but also not gonna cut out your pocket. Recently, I have been buying also their dresses.
Sorry, but I really changed clothes line since then, no more Bayo and Kamiseta for me. I find their pieces now a crap. Something which I can just buy in 168 mall. But not with Plains and Prints. Folks, this is my personal opinion ok. But you can see for yourself. Material/Fabric pa lang, ang layo na!
Recently, Rajo Laurel is asked to design nice pieces for the store. Can’t wait to get hold of new blouses! Good thing, I have a priviledge card already to take off the 10% off the price tag every time I buy.
Check out here some new collections from Rajo Laurel line.

Shangrila Mall
Saw some items in GAP on sale.
Bought these for the two girls…
For Bianca…

For Margaux…

The shorts are both on sale at Php 371 each. If you buy 2, they would still deduct 20% more from the total, making it like less than Php300 only. The tops are sold at Php595. I think the Gap store here is cheaper. Saw the same top in Singapore last month and it was at S$25 each.

What did we get in Baguio? Sorry no picture this time! I’m so damn lazy!
* Got 2 shirts (1 for Margaux and 1 for Bianca) from Guess Kids SM Baguio which were both in 50% off. (hehehe, dumayo pa dito para bumili ano?
* 4 Guess Socks also at 50% (priced at Php 68 each)
* 12 jars of ube jam from Good Shepherds Convent (for pasalubong)
* 6 Banana Loaves from Le Chef Manor (this was the souvenir from the wedding we attended and it was so yummy so I decided to buy also. Mind you, you need to order in advance cause at 8am, it is already sold out!)
* 4 canisters of Mixed Choco Flakes
* 3 Lengua De Gato
* 8 Jars of Peanut Brittle
* A knitted jacket for Bianca
* 3 Bonnets (for me, Bianca and Margaux–> 3 for Php 100)
* 1 Osh Kosh Bgosh Jeans from the Commisary for Margaux (priced at Php 299)
* 2 Pink Osh Kosh Bgosh Pants for Margaux and Bianca (priced at Php 249 each)
The husband doesn’t want to go to the market anymore cause the car trunk is so full already. Too bad, we didn’t buy veggies.

Greenbelt 5
Went out late afternoon to look for a dress to wear for an upcoming wedding. Bought 2 dresses from Randy Ortiz in Myth! Didn’t intend to wear the other one but it’s just too pretty to resist and with 40% off the rack, it’s a great steal.
I love the pretty simple dress I got in pale green with airbrush detail of big roses. Will post the pics once I’m wearing it already.
Myth is still on sale.
Banana Republic is on sale.
I also went to Adora. With all the B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L dresses and blouses I have seen from Tyler, I felt bad that they don’t have my size on most of the ones I like! It only means one thing, desperately need to trim down! Despite it, I love the pampering you get from the staff of Adora. It’s like fitting in fabulous stores in NY! They bring everything to you down to accessories and shoes. I felt like I’m Carrie Bradshaw! (hihihi) But I’m so bad, I didn’t buy a thing! (hahaha)
I also love Religioso clothes line, I’ll go back next week for the blouse which I asked them to alter according to my size!
Ah, this is what you call therapy!

of my purchases from the recent Singapore trip are now here. I think, this was one of my most expensive trips! Ok, I made sure to save a lot for this trip and I have alloted a budget for myself!
Let me just itemize the purchases on our 1st and 2nd day…
1. Bvlgari Perfume
2. 2 flat shoes from Charles and Keith
3. Some casual tees from Baleno
4. A nice formal blouse (local brand) from Isetann
On our 3rd day, I was restless already as I haven’t bought any “major” thing yet. I was really hoping to get a sneak peek in Gucci and LV. So when I left Dicky in the hotel, which he agreed and wanted, I went right away in Takashimaya to get a glimpse of my eye candies in LV! I was sad cause of too many people, I cannot concentrate! (parang palengke!). I went out of the store!
I saw Kate Spade and DKNY inside the Takashimaya department store. Wow, sale! I almost bought two items! But, control, control! I bought a kate spade already from ebay so I should just wait for it. I was looking for Long Champ on the second floor. Saw it finally but too bad, they don’t have the colors that I want. The saleslady told me to check in Paragon.
I rushed and immediately crossed the street to get to Paragon. First stop, Gucci. There were some sale items. I checked and checked. I almost bought again! Ok, but still not convinced! I went ahead to look for Long Champ. I saw the store. Perfect! I saw the color and size I wanted. Well, not actually the color cause I want the navy blue but instead got the lighter one cause the darker blue is not available. Here’s what I got:

Happy, happy, happy. I wanted this bag even before for my casual clothings. Perfect shopping bag!
Ok, but I still have the urge to bring home an LV! So I decided to walk back towards our hotel and check DFS Galleria where an LV store is also located. I was hoping that there would be lesser people there so I can really choose what I want. There it goes, I was happy to be able to move around the store and carefully select.
My options:
1. Hampstead PM in Damier
2. Alma in Epi
3. Bellevue Vernis
4. Beauborg in Damier
4. Montorgueil GM
Compute, compute! Still can’t decide. Went ahead to check out wallets this time. Been really meaning to buy one as well. I fell in love with Porte Tresor International. Compute, compute! Lovely, I bought it in a snap!

Then I went to check again the bags. I don’t know what happened to me but parang nahypnotized ako ng Montorgueil GM. It felt right on my shoulder and the size is perfect for me!….(hihihi!)

Yes, I got it as well!
Happy, happy, happy again! Who will not be?
Went out of the store already right after! My card was executed with those two purchases! lol!
Instead of going back to our hotel room, I was left with about 45 minutes still before Dicky and I was scheduled to meet so I decided to head back to Paragon. Hmmm, seems like I’m going to buy a Gucci bag, but no, I didn’t! Instead, I saw Furla at the 3rd floor, i think. I was looking for the red bag that I really want to use as a laptop bag but it was not available. But it was a store-wide sale so my eyes were also wide-open that time!
I checked and checked again! Gosh, the prices are a lot cheaper than getting it here in Manila. Compare, compare! Really cheaper by almost 50% and it was on sale! I have been meaning to really get the classic Furla tote bag for months now everytime I see it in Shangrila Mall so getting it in Singapore was just so perfect. I was deciding to get either the black or the red one. Of course, the black is always been classic and easy to match with clothes but the red one is just so irresistable. The saleslady noticed that I can’t figure out which one to get, so she offered to give an additional 10% from the total! That made me decide to get both! So impulsive of me! Ok, explanation: these Furla bags were almost 65% cheaper than the rates here in Manila when I computed because of the discounts I got plus the GST refund so who can’t resist those? Those were surely good buys! (i know, I am just defending here! lol)

I’m one big shopaholic and an ultimate bag hag! I have to put the LongChamp bag I bought inside the LV Bag so Dicky won’t notice that I actualy bought 4 bags! But he was then suprised to see me carrying 3 paper bags when we met infront of Paragon. I just smiled and walked away. He can’t complain enough.
Sabi ko na lang “pagbigyan mo na ako!” and he answered “ano pa nga ba?”
Gracious! I’m happy with all my loots!

we left for Singapore, I have cleared my credit cards so I was pretty sure that my cards are free from bad credit repair. But after the trip, I am THOUSANDS broke! LOL! It’s a different story all together. But I was pretty happy that Dicky gave me some shopping money that added to my budget. And I guess I still won’t need a credit repair after going home with a luggage that was 8 kilos heavier than it’s weight on our way to Singapore.
If you are going to ask me, what I bought. My answer is just enough QUALITY items. I felt time was too short since it was our first time there so we also had to see the great attractions of the country. We were only left to shop just half a day or even less of each day we were there. We didn’t bother to go to those chinatown or night markets anymore cause a number of friends told me that those items can just be found in 168 mall here in the country. Instead, we hop from one mall to another. It was exactly what I did on our last day while I left Dicky in our hotel room who just enjoyed the bath tub. As for me, I wouldn’t trade the remaining time to just sit back so I braved myself to the whole stretch of Orchard Road, cramming like crazy for last minute shopping. Singapore is a great place to shop for branded items and since we actually hit the last week of Great Singapore Sale, I couldn’t be happier with the great finds I found. But gee, my feet and legs ached terribly! I was literally limping on our last night! Hahaha.
Thank goodness my card is free from repair credit so I was able to still use it for one big purchase! (what could it be?) But nevertheless, if ever I would need a credit repair services, I would definitely check out what DSI Solutions has to offer.
