We are trying to find those type like the zero turn riders but those are not just available in the store. So we opted to the regular ones. That task has been long overdue since last year. But I just had to make it happen before the Chinese New Year. Glad we were able to finish before the eve of the celebration. I was able to clear up our closets to as much as extra 40% space since I need to dispose other clothes and shoes. I threw a number of junk as well and was even suprised to see some loose us coins in one of drawers. Got to keep this so we can still use when we get back to LA. It’s a refreshing feeling to actually be clearing up all the clutter in our rooms.

It’s a luxurious 1200ct egyptian cotton sheet. It’s actually a Valentino Signature Linen. It’s so fabulous! I want to get even just a piece of it. I love the idea of making it with personal signature monogramming. I’m sure this kind of sheet is very cool, crisp and very soft. It would make you want to lie down on bed. It is also a perfect match to our mattress as it could fit up to 19″ thickness. Now, I want to order!

The husband and I are thinking to even get a massage table. A friend was actually selling us one but I wasn’t too happy with it when I saw it. It looks like one of those exam tables on some medical clinics. So I guess we have to look further on our options. I bought nice accessories for the cabinets and even completed like different massage oils which I got from a friend who sells organic products. The husband has asked our electrician to change the lighting system too so we could have a cozier feel when we are having our home-service massage with having some dimmed lights and soft quiet music from our iPod dock. I’m excited, hope we could get the perfect massage table already.

Yes, I finally managed to get new curtains for the house. Since we have a very high ceiling, changing our curtains could just be done annually. Aside from it is kinda hard to change it because we even need to bring in scaffolding, it is also a pain the pocket. I still have a number of items on my list of “to buy” for the house. Not now yet but I am sure it would come one by one. Next up, I need chair slipcovers and a very nice painting. I hope to get these two at least for 2011.

We visited this store when we were still furnishing our house.  One sofa would already cost for like a down payment for a brand new car. I almost fell on the ground after checking the prices so we ended up having our “ethan allen inspired” furniture customized instead by our interior designer. We are happy with the output nonetheless.

But heard that there’s something cooking up next week in their store in Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City. Check out their poster below…

Been wanting to get it but for some reason we just didn’t prioritize it. Good thing, the water line was already prepared by our contractor so anytime we want to purchase one, it would just be easy to install. The husband said it was one of the best investments we had. It’s enjoyable to take a hot shower in the evening with just a turn of the knob.  What we got is actually isn’t the regular heater for shower but something like what has been installed in hotels. Even our sink faucet have a hot and cold system already. I love it! Yes, OA but that’s how it is. Imagine my joy when we finally get spa covers for our hot tub. (wink!)

I was even thinking to get Tempur-Pedic pillows after learning there is a mattress sale online from Coast to Coast.  Oh, they even offer nationwide shipping.  What is even hot is that they also have new offerings on products that are eco-friendly and organic.  Isn’t that cool?

Saw the above little play kitchen in Ikea in Windsor House in Hong Kong. It’s so cute. I almost bought it as I thought it would be perfect for the little girls play room. There was even like a play electric fireplace insert which could partner with the above for the mini living room area that they have there as well. But it would really be a problem to bring those home. I thought of course of shipping it instead but I’ll rather not get the hassle so I didn’t buy.  Instead got few ikea boxes, just about two, round place mats and ice cubes shaper.  I love Ikea!

What’s more, they are on with their Semi-Annual Sale. I love the leather sofa beds! Since we have been thinking to convert either the play room or the guest room to a family/den room, we might consider getting from there.  They have lovely pieces!  I must convince the husband that we should get the leather sofa bed from there.

I wish I could buy it and pack it up to bring home to Manila. It would be perfect pieces for our lawn area. I found a nice rustic bench and a coffee table partnered with 4 chairs. It would be nice to sit there and sip your cup of coffee in the morning. I am just amazed that there are so much options here. Wish these stuff are available back home.

It was one of the furniture shops we checked when we were furnishing the house but we just can’t afford a sofa set for Php350K!!! ;) We opted for customized one instead. But should you have the budget, check out what they have to offer until end of the month. I also love their linens especially the curtains and bed throws there. It was all imported fabrics. The husband needs to see the costing first before he agrees. I haven’t started calling any contractors yet to canvass for it. I’m sure the cost of it won’t be the same with us putting up a small fish pond on the side and getting a fish pond filter for it instead. Can you guess what we are planning? A lapping one would do. I’m sure the kids would have a blast with it if ever it pushes through.
