What country please?

Gee, I got a letter from Margaux’s teacher re their United Nations Activity 2 weeks from now. It would be on October 24, Friday. There’s was no specific country requested for Margaux. It is all up to the parents on what to ask their kids to wear. Ok, so I’m now searching for a nice and cute united nations costume. Of course, the dotting mother in me wants it to be unique, because they will parade in the whole grounds of Miriam College!!!!

Any suggestions and any leads where to get one? I have been “googling” national costumes of different countries now. I think I need to pull hair of some people (read: designers/dressmakers) for this in order to have one if I can’t find something readily available.

This is pressure!

Mall Hit Today-August 20

Shangrila Mall

Saw some items in GAP on sale.

Bought these for the two girls…

For Bianca…

For Margaux…

The shorts are both on sale at Php 371 each. If you buy 2, they would still deduct 20% more from the total, making it like less than Php300 only.  The tops are sold at Php595. I think the Gap store here is cheaper. Saw the same top in Singapore last month and it was at S$25 each.

What did I get today?

Can’t get enough of shopping!  Today, I bought these online. For me and the kids…

Love for shopping can be inherited! lol!

What’s for this year?

Margaux won the best costume in the trick or treat party in hubby’s office last year. She was in her dumbo costume. Look here…

Now, as early as August, I’m already on the look out for great Halloween Costumes. I wonder what could be the best costume for her to wear? I also would like to get something for Bianca this year as I’m sure she would also enjoy the trick or treats already. I’m thinking that they would look great in some
Disney Costumes which i saw from Eastern Toys. They have lovely and unique costumes not only for children but also for adults. The prices online are also a steal, great prices! Oh, the girls love the disney princesses so much and adores Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty a lot. But I’m not sure yet if that’s what I’m getting for them since I am very sure there would be a lot of little girls out there who will also be on those costumes. I want something unique and playful so I’m browsing some more. My options could also be the Star Wars Costumes like the Star Wars Princess Leia costume for Margaux and the Star Wars Yoda Infant costume. These are both cute!

Hmm, what do you think?

A Royal Nursery

Did you know that Brad and Angelina spent about $140,000 for the new nursery of their coming twins? I bet the nursery is fit for a princess or their princesses spending about $3,200 just for a crib, $800 for an organza bassinet and two pink chandeliers for $900 each! These are just some of the items they have purchased. So if you are sassy mommy and would like to create a royal nursery like Angelina, but a quarter of a price or even less, check out these great finds I saw online.   These are some hot cribs for newborns currently available in the market.

These cribs for newborns are all fabulous in their great prices. Not to mention that they are perfect for tall babies and even twins. But most of these are not portable but you are guaranteed of its quality since these are all made out of quality wood material.

In our MBAP Coffee Date yesterday, two of the moms who were present and preggy, Mich and Peachy are thinking if it is still wise to buy cribs for newborns. They are still deciding whether to use the existing ones they have for their first born but cannot take off the thought they they are encouraging themselves to fully breastfeed the baby so a co-sleeping might be preferred. But they said a crib that would work as playpen would also be a manageable choice.  Makes me excited for them if they do start shopping for their upcoming babies.

Toys Galore

While checking out some nice wine rack as a selection gift for my dad on Father’s Day next month, I stumbled upon the toys section of a different site and I’m “a check-out button” away in buying these…

I want to buy this for Margaux as a reward for being a good student in her swimming class.
This one is for Bianca…

But I retracted for the meantime. I’ll purchase it tomorrow, just need to confirm to a client coming home this June her complete address.

celebration yesterday went well. Guess where we went? SM Megamall to buy the little girls their bikes! Margaux has been urging and urging for a week now that she wants an “orange” (her fave color) bike. But there’s no available orange so we just got her a pink motorbike which is rechargable. We also got Bianca a small red bike. They were ecstatic and was eager to go home right after buying the new toys. It was jam-packed in SM Megamall because of the 3-day sale. We took advantage cause we got those bikes for 20% off. Great savings! We brought them home after and the husband and I proceeded to Greenbelt, Makati to have an-hour of massage in The Spa, Greenbelt. We checked out first the restaurants in Greenbelt 5 so that made us decide where to dine in. Our options were: Chateau 1771, The Maison, Myron’s Place and Fish Out of Water. We finally decided to check out and try The Maison. It was an overly delicious dinner at The Maison. We made thr right choice. We ordered the Chef’s Salad, Seafood Marinara and a 300gm Fillet Mignon steak! Whoo!, lean mean that was! Yummy and truly juicy. I want to go back here to try their famous and big serving of Ribs. It was a well-spent anniversary celebration!
