They love it. They enjoy playing with it every afternoon. But good thing some gave them other toys too and some even includes books. Their play room needs a lot of cleaning as well.  There are just so many toys which have piled up around it.  I need some time to sort it out even their clothes.

I have never received this most number of GCs in my entire life! What’s left here when I took this picture was just about 1/8 of what I have received. From whom? Secret! It’s one of the husband’s gift(s) for me. Initially, I really wanted an Iphone but I just realized that a touch-screen mobile won’t work for me especially that I am used to sending sms messages even while driving. I’m getting the hang of this phone already. I love the freedom that I can check and answer emails, open attachments, edit word and excel files and now using it as well to keep track of all my calendar schedules. I finally said goodbye to my Tungsten W! (I just use it now as a calculator, hehehe!)

It was actually the husband who introduced me to Becky’s Kitchen when he was still courting me.  He always brought me the walnut fudge brownies.  Being a La Sallian himself, he swore about the goodness of all baked goodies from Becky’s Kitchen.  Since then, I have always craved for their super moist brownies!  love it!

They are starting to accept orders by November 15 and you will be suprised how many are placing their orders early.  I remember 3 years ago when we tried to order from them like 2nd week of December, they can no longer accept it since they were fully booked already.  They have wide selection of goodies to choose from and they even have christmas packaging available. 

They have variety of baked goodies to choose from.  My favorite is their walnut fudge brownies.  Half box is at Php145 and Whole Box is Php270.

Found another quiant stall at the 3rd floor of Podium Mall called Artbox.  And I found lovely pieces of boxes for christmas gifts.  What I like most is their watch organizer perfect as a gift for men in our lives.  I haven’t seen a man who doesn’t have more than 1 watch.  The husband for instance has six.  He changes from one watch to another and what I actually don’t find pleasing is when he just put it on top of my dresser all scattered around and I just keep on fixing it everyday.  So something like this could be a great tool to organize his watches.  

The cost of which is around Php 450-up.  And they come in pretty and nice prints of boxes.  Great gift for fathers and uncles as well.  Hmm, it could even be better if you can include a watch!  lol!

 Jody’s Christmas Gifts Suggestions (JCGS)

Since it is just about 91 days to go before christmas (exactly 3 months to go!), I’m starting off something on this blog.  I would blog about some christmas gifts suggestions.  I have always been preparing early for christmas gifts for family and friends and even have an excel file of the gifts I bought for my godsons/goddaughters in the past years so to make sure not to repeat any of it.  Stuff I would post or blog about are either new found stuff or could be my old-time favorites.  For kick-off, read below:

I have a new addiction with scented candles and I just love the soy candles from Alice Blue Candle. I actually hoarded about 5 scents last week in their Glorietta Kiosk. My favorites from the Garden collection are White Tea and Ginger, Mediterranean Fig, and Lush Garden. This would all be perfect for our master’s bedroom. I also got something for our kitchen and I’m trying the Berry Crumble and the Hot Chocolate. Hmm, smells so yummy.

I started buying Alice Blue Candles since last year when my friend introduced it to me. I even recommended it already to some clients and two actually got it as souvenirs/gifts for their bridal entourage. It could also be perfect for christmas gifts.  They have stores in Glorietta 3, Makati, Trinoma and 3/L of Podium.  I believe they would also be joining a number of Bazaars, particularly the one organized by the American Women’s Club of the Philippines.  

Costs around Php415 for the big glass and Php175 for the small glass.  It comes in a box and I learned that they do have christmas packaging that would also be out soon.  

Two Thumbs Up for these scented candles.  

My parent’s room are very contemporary with its white paint and classic bed frame so I think the few styles I found from Farreys would be something she would appreciate.

I am now choosing from the three collections. Good thing Farreys offers variety of lamps and lamp shades in different styles from a number of top manufacturers. I was able to look for the options I have using their search tool which quickly helped me find lamps by brand, by application or by style. I am now choosing among the three for the perfect desk lamps for my mom. Which do you think is best?

Oktomat Camera (Lomocamera) from Jason Magbanua. The man, by the way, recently won an award again. He’s one great person, one great friend. He influenced me to go for lomography. Apprently, I haven’t been hardcore yet with this hobby but will try to post some of the pictures I took before. With this oktomat, each picture will capture 9 figures in one shot. Isn’t it cool?

Kenneth Cole Black wallet from Madge Lejano. Love it. Love the many pockets inside to put all my cards. I just haven’t changed my wallet yet, but I do intend to do so soon. Madge is a very good make-up artist and I have high regard to her work. It’s always fun working with her team during events.

(Pardon the blur of the picture). A personalized notepad with our names (dicky and jody liwanag). This came from John and Benz Rana. It’s one of my favorites. Got the same thing before from Jong of Write Impression but it was just my name. I find this gift very useful, especially on the nature of my job. I’m just so proud carrying it around.
