The Shopaholic In Me

So we already enrolled both girls in school. Our bank accounts had major heart attack! Lol! It is so expensive to send kids to school nowadays but as cliche as it may sound, it is the only best thing we could give our kids. Aside from tuition fees plus miscellaneous fees that’s like 5% of the the total fees, we have to settle for the books as well. Good thing the books this year for Grade 2 is just about Php6,000+. It was lesser than last year that amounts to Php8,000+. My daughters’ school still uses the Singapore Math and Science books, in total of 10 books for both subjects. I still need to list down the items we need to buy for school supplies including new sets of uniforms, new black shoes and new PE shoes. I wonder if the Supra shoes I saw online is possible as a PE shoes. My eldest already outgrow her PE shoes so we really need to buy a new one.    Ahhh!  So much expenses these days.  We are just thankful for the gift our work that we are able to provide for the needs of our families most especially the kids.

Excited that I got a new event to organize. I am planning and managing an event for one of the top universities in the country for their Jubilee Homecoming. It is actually my first time to organize such an event so everything is new to me. But I like it, though the only setback is really talking to different people and getting the approval of everyone. Nevertheless, I am sure it will be a good experience for me. I look forward to infuse my ideas to how to make this homecoming a successful one. How to make it as a benchmark for all the other homecoming events of that university. It will definitely be a good opportunity for me. Now, back to working as I still need to figure out how and where to order those college flags we need for the event. I need to ensure that these flags be delivered on time.
